Sikara uses FedEx for all international shipments and the customer is responsible for all duties and taxes.
REPAIRS:
If your jewelry is in need of repair simply contact our us at mshaw@mba2005.hbs.edu to obtain a Repair Authorization Number. When shipping the item to us, please send the receipt. If you need to obtain a copy of your receipt please email us. Charges may apply and you will be notified at the time the jewelry is assessed and prior to beginning repair. For your protection, please send all returns insured via UPS or Parcel Post in a hard box.
AVAILABILITY:
Many of the items are unique and often produced in limited editions. If the piece you request is out of stock, we will contact you regarding a back order or suggest a comparable piece. If an item is back-ordered, you will not be charged until it is ready for shipping. You will not be charged shipping for the back ordered items if sent separately.
RETURNS:
Since it’s our goal to make every Sikara customer excited about their jewelry, if you are not fully satisfied with your piece we will happily exchange it for another item from our Sikara collection.* Simply email service@sikarajewelry.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll send you the instructions for return and store credit. For your protection we recommend that you send all items via insured mail. We will ship out an alternative piece at no additional shipping.
*Please note: jewelry should be in resaleable condition
CARING FOR SIKARA JEWELRY:
Sikara jewelry can be cleaned using a soft jewelry polishing cloth. Avoid harsh detergents when cleaning jewelry. Never clean jewelry in bleach as chlorine bleach degrades gold jewelry. Swimming in chlorinated water should also be avoided. Items that are all silver (which do not have stones, pearls, etc.) can be washed by mixing a small amount of baking soda with lukewarm water.
*Pearls, coral and turquoise can be affected by contact with the skin, perfume and harsh detergents and polishing creams. They should not be worn in the shower or the pool or placed in water for an extended period of time.
